New Hank 3 CD

Post by Gordon Black »

Hank 3rd has just released a CD entitled "Broke, Lovesick & Drifting". It features Kayton Roberts on nearly every cut. Needless to say, the steel excellent. The liner also has a nice tribute to Kayton. Good stuff (if ya like the "Anti-Hank").

I'm building a SK-V for his Steel player right now, guess they're pretty wild.

Is Hank III following in this grandpa's footsteps or tracking a different route like Hank II?

Hank actually has "two sides" to him. His country side is true to the bone, honky-tonk that his grand dad would be proud of. He almost sounds more like Hank Sr. than Hank Sr. (kinda eerie almost).
In some of Hank 3's live shows I hear he plays real hard core punk music. He also has a CD coming out that's called "This AIN"T Country".I CAN recommend his two country albums for sure.
