I'm trying to buy a case for 71 Professional. Can anybody steer me to a good place to purchase a case that's not going to empty my bank account.

Kevin Hatton was highly recommended to me. I just sent him an e-mail. My MSA was in a house fire at our old rehearsal place. The guitar came through it OK but the case which was pretty road worn to begin with is pretty much ruined now. I'm really hoping he helps me. Man this case smell so bad from the fire!

You may want to consider split cases for your D10.

Kevin made split cases for my SD10 and they were excellent.

Here's Wade Thomas' contact info in North Carolina. Great cases, fair prices and timely service. The Thomas family has been building cases for years.

What I want to know is who builds an ordinary black replacement case like my LDG came in, or something similar. I bought this LDG, which was near mint condition, but the case looks like they shipped it around the world a few times. It can't be the case that came with the guitar. This guitar is set up most of the time so the case doesn't get a lot of use, but this case is so bad I don't want it near my other gear for fear of scratching everything else.

Wade Thomas Jr. is building all the cases for Sierra now and doing a fantastic job. Great cases, great prices and great service. Like father like son!

Thanks. I will try him. Kevin Hatton is booked up until July. I sent a PM to Hugh Briley but haven't heard back. Called MSA and Red Dirt. So far no luck. Red Dirt stuff looks good but I don't need ATA grade for an already ridiculously heavy guitar.
