Hey guys

Up for sale is my beautiful 1953 Gibson Es 175 in gorgeous sunburst finish.
This was the 1st year that the 2 pickup configuration was introduced.
These early p-90s are some of the sweetest sounding vintage Gibson pickups ( in my opinion ) , very balanced tone with loads of variations. No Cracks or breaks and the neck is as straight as an arrow. A bit of minor finish burn on the bottom bout where it sat on a rubber guitar stand years ago , but really nothing to worry about. The nut is of course 1 11/16ths and the neck shape is just darling.
This guitar is all original with no breaks and is housed in its original factory pink lined Lifton Case.

That lovely old Lifton case is worth a whole lot on its own!

What a lovely guitar.

Nice guitar! I have a natural, single p90 version. Any idea how to date these old things? #A17920

Brett - yours is a 1954.

If you simply use Google there are dozens of "guitar dating" websites - he's one on reverb.com:
