I got this notice of refund from Paypal yesterday. According to Melissa’s note, the manufacturer just returned her money two days ago. I can’t find any update on Jeffran college.com to reflect this, but that is the current narrative as relayed to me.

So chide me for not paying attention, but are these picks no longer made? I bought some to get my Right Hand Alpha working then switched to Nationals.

I would be surprised to see them available again. If I had the problems she had, I wouldn't pursue it.

Earlier this year Melissa posted on the site, jeffrancollege.com, that refunds for all pick preorders would be issued by 2/28/19 and that if/when JF picks became available in the future they would be stock and not available as preorder again. After that date passed, she issued no refunds that I'm aware of and removed that notice.

Is Jeffran college still in business?I would like to order but am afraid of a lost order or lost funds.

John, I doubt she has plans on refunding everyone, otherwise she probably would have posted on her site or sent an email. My thinking is that my getting refunded was due to the complaint that I sent to the TN Atty General’s office, and had nothing to with the manufacturer reimbursing her. Her story has changed so often that she holds no credibility with me.

So your email says the manufacturer refunded their money, but looks like they are just going to keep it unless you file major complaints....

Yup. The TN consumer affairs office sent me a message last week saying they tried to contact her twice but got no response. I have to deduce that this is what prompted her to return my dough since I seem to be the only person to be refunded.

I am going place a complaint with TN on Monday. We all should. Every time I get an email from them to purchase sale products I get annoyed.

Don,
here is the site to file a complaint online. Click on this link, then click the "Online Complaint Form" button.

https://www.tn.gov/commerce/consumer/file-a-complaint.html

It will ask for login- if I recall correctly, I was able to file as "guest" without creating an account. You'll need to supply the business address & phone#- they are:

Melissa Greer
Jeffran Music
415 Guethlein Rd.
Mount Juliet TN 37122-4625

615 879 4911
615 470 5224

If you run into any snags, the consumer affairs rep who helped me was:

Sierra Pruitt
email: sierra.pruitt@tn.gov
500 James Robertstown Pkwy. 12th Floor
Nashville, TN 37243
615 741 4737
615 532 4994 (fax)
consumer.affairs@tn.gov

Best of luck,
Pete

Ask her to discount the products by 50% to repay you for you money and grief. See what she says.
