I'm really looking forward to the jam. I talked to Larry and Shady & asked them both if they thought it'd be ok for me to set-in on a couple of tunes. They both said they thought it'd be ok,,, just as long as I didn't plug my amp in. I got the feeling they were implying something! RM

Now Rex,
I believe you are streeetchiiing the truth just a little bit. You can plug your amp into your steel, but not into AC power. (haha)!! Git after it and do some picking! I'll be anxious to hear you. I'm ready to pick as well.

We had a good time. We were a little short of Steelers that were able to pick but we had several wounded ones in attendance. Always good to see & visit with each one. Toliver picked mighty fine as usual and Rex Mayfield helped keep me straightened out. Thanks to Lyndall Underwood, Robby Nolan, Todd Baird, Chris Meyer, and Bubba Stephens for the backup. And thanks to Shady & Debbie for the great hospitality at the Opry House.

Oh and we did let Rex plug in his amp but Shady stayed close to the outlet ready to pull it if he misbehaved.

Had a great time yesterday at the jam. Had 5 steelers or so. So we all got to play a long time. Great band with Bubba Stephens on lead....wow!! We'll do it again in a month or two.

Larry, there ain’t no tellin what Bubba could do if he’d quit holding his guitar backward. On second thought, the way he plays, I think the righties may be holdin theirs backward!
