Mark,

I've compiled all four YouTube links into one discussion. Please tell us what equipment and tuning you were using on these songs (assuming it's you playing lap steel on these).

Thanks! I did them all with a Gibson-made Dobro D60, wood body, squareneck, G tuning from around 1999. The engineer mic'd it through the air to the board - some type of ribbon mic but I don't know what brand/model. What made you think it was a lap steel?
