| I just stumbled onto the best dobro sound I have ever heard on steel guitar and that includes the BoBro and Goodrich Match-Bro. I ran a Boss Ge-7 eq pedal with the sliders set just like the Bobro (don’t get me started on that one) into a Fishman Spectrum Aura that was using resophonic image no. 12 under the bluegrass setting. Blend was set at 3:00, low- 1:00, mid-10:00, and high-1:00. WOW!!! It has that perfect timbre of a dobro, the resophonic image in the Aura really puts it over the top. Now when I get my new Kemper in a few weeks, I plan on profiling this setup and saving it on the Kemper. Oh, and I am using a plastic bar also. |
