Looking to add to my collection, now that I'm obsessed with the reso.
So what are your MUST HAVE dobro albums. Unless it's something particularly rare or unknown, let's put Jerry Douglas aside for right now..........we can safely assume ALL his recordings are musts!! lol

Three Bells, Mike's last album with Jerry and Rob
The Resophonic Rodeo for some 7 string action.
One of my favorite records of all time: Peter Rowan and Jerry Douglas's duet album Yonder
Orville Johnson's Freehand
Six String Swing, Billy Cardine
Skip, Hop, & Wobble. Must have. Jerry Douglas with Edgar Meyer and Russ Barenberg
Stobro's Blues, Ferrell Stowe. For different tuning
Stone Bottom Boogie, Junior Barber. I'd put this in must have category.

Beverly King has two or three Oswald style (and sounding) records. Her tunes are simple, easy to learn and great to begin with.

A must have (and I'm surprised that it hasn't been mentioned yet) is "All Old Friends" by Stacy Phillips....this recording has just about every style of dobro tune and dobro infused tunes spanning a wide variety of genres....and his playing is over the top....f you are learning or entering the realm of dobro, this is an eye opener & game changer....styles he covers are:
Western Swing
Hawaiian
Bluegrass
Blues
Old Time Country
Folk
