Jake finally got a decent steel player.

I don't know why in the world he hung on to that Price guy for so long.

In case my post is misunderstood I'm adding this quote about the sports writer:

"Dear old Des lives on in modern rhyming slang. When somebody leaving a party asks for his Desmond, they mean their Desmond Hackett, jacket. That would have greatly amused him, because he was a Lancastrian who cultivated a terribly posh English accent to go with his bowler hat image. Rhyming slang would not have come near his tongue. He and handlebar-moustached cartoonist Roy Ullyett travelled the world passing themselves off as English lords, wangling their way into cocktail parties galore."

Tommy is the perfect match for Jake's band.

That Jacket looks like one that maybe Tom Brumley may have worn when he was working on the "Yellow Rose of Texas" in San Antonio. I think Tommy replaced Tom on that project when Tom fell ill. It sure does look good on Tommy,,,LOL!!!!!!!

Thanks Bill for that, great video, Tommy, great playing and so neat to see Jake playing bass and singing, he's escaped my radar, but not any longer.
