These are recent yard-sale finds but I have no idea what models they are. They each used to have brand logos but those have been sacrificed to the road gods apparently. The Vox, despite appearances here) is actually trapezoid shape and surely recent, but I can't find any 90s, 00s, 10s models that correspond.

This Marshall head at least has the plate with the C E designation ("Certified for Export"?) but no other clues. Maybe the yardstick will help with the IDs?

The Vox cabinet looks like one from the solid state era that were made in the US by the Thomas Organ Company. The Marshall head cab looks like it came from a JTM45 or some other Plexi era amp head.

Ben, I can´t help with the cabinet ID, but your mention of the ´CE´ mark got me to thinking and searching. I always figured that it meant ´Consumer Electronics´, but that was just a guess. I did a little searching and found that it means ´Conformité Européenne´ which is of course French for ´European Conformity´. It simply means it meets the health, safety and etc. Standards for use in the EU. Now my best guess is that is similar to our old ´UL Approved´ ratings. More info here:

We now return you to your regularily scheduled programming. Cool

Based on my limited experience with Marshall tops (only that I've owned a bunch and I'm old), that Marshall cab may very well be from the JTM45 era, but it may also be a JMP series from the 70's. These were non-master, 4-input tops.

I've owned several JMP50s (model 1987) and there was also 100W Super Lead version (model 1974) that looked identical from the front, but only the 100W had the vented top like the one you have, presumably because it had 4 power tubes, not 2?

That CE plate on the back looks newer, I don't remember any of my original JMPs ever having that.. good find either way, those cabs are relatively hard to find (original anyway) in good condition. People will pay for that.. Very cool.

That Vox head looks like this model AD60VTH. They also offered a AD120VTH model

I once owned a Vox Berkeley... worst amp I ever owned. Confused

Many of the recent Vox AC30 heads are that size.

The Marshall looks like a 1959 head (100 watt).

Compare the dimensions with the cabinet in the link - (H) 10-3/4" x (W) 29" x (D) 8-1/4")

On the Vox, I can't i.d. what that is. Nothing I've seen has that shape with the three vents and the back slot.
