The list of vendors on the TSGA site had Bentley Guitars. Were they actually there?

Sort of.

They had a room full of second hand steels and amps. No mention of "Bentley" Guitars, no pictures, no product information. The owner was supposedly unable to attend.

They had a red Franklin D-10 for sale, among a few other used steels.

I saw the signage mentioning Bentley, and went in that room near the end of the show as they were packing up. They had a few very informal handwritten signs directing folks to “steels and amps for sale”.

I didnt see any Bentley steels, or anything suggesting an association with them.

They noticed I had a zumsteel shirt on, and asked about mine, saying they often accepted them in trade. They asked about mine, ( a Black D10 hybrid, with pearl trim) they offered me a SKH Emmons in trade, which I politely declined. I had no intention of trading the Zum, so no big deal.

They were nice enough, but no idea who they were.

Must admit I was really surprised that TSGA had them at show.

Being able to leave may have posed more of a problem than being able to attend Laughing

He was suffering from a brass neck and couldn't attend.
