Please, please, please watch at least 30 seconds of each AD on my YouTube videos. This is the only way to make it worth my while to continue posting all these historical videos.
Here are a couple of "toe tappers" as Herby would call them from the 1996 International Steel Guitar Convention.
Herby Wallace - Steel Guitar
Dean Baxter - Fiddle
Bobby Caldwell - Guitar
Gary "Biscuit" Davis - Guitar (Herby's son in law)
Jimmy Queen - Drums
Russ Wever - Bass
Roy Rosetta - Piano
Leonard T Zinn - Rhythm Guitar
Please Like and follow me on YouTube and Facebook
And I REALLY appreciate comments

Thank you Bill!
I've heard him play at Gery Hogan's Festival in Newbury. I bought a course from him, but while I still have the cassette I've lost the tablature
somehow. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Thanks so much Bill, for putting this out there. We could always use more of Herby's stuff out there. Was awesome with the fast stuff, but also so great with the slow music, and my favorite I think was Ten Thousand Years. _________________ Mullen Lacquer SD 10, 3 & 5; Mullen Mica S 10 1/2 pad, 3 & 5; BJS Bars; LTD400, Nashville 112, DD-3, RV-3, Hilton VP . -- Gold Tone PBS sq neck; Wechter Scheerhorn sq neck. -- "Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone." -anon.- |

I remember going by Herbys booth at the Texas Show. He was very quiet and I always thought shy. One day I called him to order a C6th project. Thirty minutes later I was still on the phone. He was so kind and friendly and willing to help and encourage me to really work on playing C6th. I loved his playing and he was a killer steel player. |
