I got a chance today to visit with Danny Newsome who builds the new Newsome Steel Guitars in the Nashville, TN area.

I'm really impressed by the playabilty and great tone. Danny has always been a Craftsman and the steel cabinets he builds all have great tone and resonance. Even sound from top to bottom.

Really pretty to look at too.

Thanks for stopping over the house and playing these Ron. You sounded great as always. Also I want to thank Vic Lawson for playing the Newsome Steel at the Nashville Pallace.

Ron and Dan are both old friends of mine from the "old country". Both are good guys. Vic does good for being a Lawson. Just teasing Vic.
I worked with Danny in New Jersey and he does a good job on everything he does. I'm sure the Nashville crowd know Ron and Vic pretty well but Danny may not be as familiar to some. Aside from building a fine steel guitar, Danny is a great singer too. I'm sure he's busy building steels but give him a shout if you need a frontman/singer.
