Hi - anyone ever play a PSG thru
one of these either home or out
On a gig? I tried one on electric guitar
And it was amazing and felt like it has enough
Headroom for steel (?). Thanks. Eric

Looking for that smaller amp that can do
Double duty.

What kind of gig? I have a similar amp (Tyler JT-14) and it breaks up pretty quick if you're trying to be heard over a drummer without a monitor.

Louis Electrics are AMAZING amps tho.

The Columbia is a 6v6 driven low wattage amp and also a 6L6 slightly higher wattage. You get both watt abilities in the one amp. 18/28 watts.

If you like your psg cranking and distorting, then this would work for anything that gets that tone.

Wouldn't expect high power clean brilliance to be the tone on this.

Not exactly an inexpensive unit ($2.5k) and the selling point is the maintenance is low to nil on this compared to its older brethren.

Well.…finally got a chance to try this amp
With my PSG. Although it’s one of the
Best sounding electric guitar amps I’ve
Played in the end I did not care for the voicing
For pedal steel. That said someone else
May like it. However I’d imagine the folks
That designed the amp did not have PSG in
mind when developing the amp - it is
However an incredible guitar amp.

I was however shocked at how the small
Quilter Micropro Mach 2 could handle a
PSG. Ejo
