Franklin pedal

Hello, the 4th pedal lowers the 5 string on my guitar, is that the Franklin pedal. it's on a D-10 GFI. I'm having an issue working it in to things because i can't make sence of what it sounde like. Not sure what it should be tuned to plus Im tuned down a 1/2 step. Any thoughts. Thank you.

The Franklin pedal 4 lowers 5, 6, and 10 a whole tone.
