Hey guys, just a little video demonstrating my latest rig, which is an SD-10 Fessenden guitar on which I retrofitted a 6-string neck made by Dennis Brown at 2D's guitars. Really having a ton of fun with this setup, switching between pedal steel and dobro.

Sounds great. Love the dobro sound. Other than the Aura pedal, how are you eq-ing for the dobro ?

Thanks guys. The Steelaire has two channels, but channel 2 doesn't have a independant eq or tone control, so I didn't eq the dobro any different than the steel. I tried to find the brightest setting on the aura pedal. Someone suggested picking closer to the bridge, I'm going to try that next time.

With this setup, you can send each neck to a different amp or send them to the same input. On the 6-string neck, there's an input for the pedal steel, and then you can switch to decide which neck is coming out. In this instance, I have both necks going to a different input on the Quilter, and as you cans ee in the video, I use the Quilter remote to switch amp channels.

The tricky thing for me was playing dobro with a pedal steel bar. If I had more time I would switch bars as well.
