Hi all. I've got a collection of Dobro and National resonators. Three of which I make my living with, two of which are in need of new tuning machines. The two in question are a '31 'O' and a '33 Duolian so If possible I'd prefer to leave the screw footprint unchanged, but quality tuners that do their job is paramount. I've never replaced 3x3 tuners before. Any advice in regards to products or replacement technique will be appreciated.

cheers,
Derek Fairchild

First thing is to know about Stewart-MacDonald, affectionately known as Stew-Mac... here's their tuners page:

If they don't have it, you probably don't need it.

Second is to know if you just have degraded tuner buttons. These are available, you can glue or melt replacements onto your original tuners.
