The “Little O’ Oprey” has been nominated as Venue Of The Year and I have been nominated for Steel Guitar/Dobro player of the year. The final cut is down to top five in all categories.

I have played steel guitar at the “Oprey” for 28 years. It would be a great honor to receive this award as Arkansas Steel Player Of The Year but since I have not been in a traveling band with exposure at many venues I need help from my Forum friends.

I would appreciate your votes at: https://Arkansascountrymusic.com for me and also the “Little O’ Oprey”. Voting ends March 14th.
Thanks,
Jerry
Thanks to everyone of you who voted for me and “The Little O’ Oprey” house.
I appreciate you very much. We learn results in early May.

Thanks guys, time is short. We only have til the 14th. If I have been a help to any of you, I would appreciate your vote. It is not so much about playing ability but more about contribution to the steel guitar community, my thoughts anyway.
Jerry

Jerry,

Please allow me to apologize... I followed the link with the best of intentions to cast my vote for you, but a photo on the home page caused me to write in a vote for Miss Arkansas Claudia Raffo. Sorry....

Kidding, you have my vote.

Lance

Thank you guys, Larry your vote is good and appreciated. It is a nationwide vote. Two of Nashville’s finest fiddlers are in the finals for fiddle player of the year, Jenee Keener Fleener with Blake Shelton and The Voice and Tim Crouch a sessions player who was with Mike Snider last I knew. Jenee actually grew up on “The Little O’ Oprey”. I played with Tim in the Bill Mounce and the Outlaws band. Tim is the brotherof Dennis Crouch, the great upright bass player who also played with The Outlaws. Dennis was with The Time Jumpers for a long time. Joe Nichols also sang on “The Little O’ Oprey” before moving on to Nashville. The “Oprey” is very deserving of the Venue as it has helped several stars get their start. I met Bill Mounce on the “Oprey” which led to my playing with the Outlaws.
Your votes are appreciated regardless where you live.
Thanks,
Jerry

Thanks to all who have voted for me. We have enough members to accomplish this. If I have ever helped you in any way please take a moment to help me. The competition is very good and campaigning hard so it is uphill. Please go to
https://arkansascountrymusic.com and give me your vote. We can do it with your help.
Thanks,
Jerry
