Thanks Joe - That made my week. Here's a Stringbean story Stonewall's son told me. Stringbean chewed gum all the time. When he would work his Opry spot, he would stick his wad of gum on the door frame as he was walking out of the dressing room door, work his spot come back get his gum and put it back in his mouth. Stringbean was from back in a place and time when kids would get one stick of gum in the beginning of summer and chew it all summer long. That's one of the reasons country entertainers sound so good.

Great story Robert. I went past the farm where string and his wife were murdered in 73. Just had to look him up. Hal Rugg was a bonus. Entertainers for sure!
