I bought this Kala 5 string Ubass and it is just so cool, sweet, and nice playing. It truly sounds like a stand up bass. I hav played it 4 or 5 times is all. I just don't have the time left over for another instrument to learn like I thought I would. It is perfect and is as new condition. I bought a nice small instrument strap for it. It comes with a Kala gig bag. $330 + shipping and Paypal fee. You can come by and pick it up if that's possible. If you aren't too far away, I will deliver if you pay my gas.
see the two bass amps I bought to use with this Kala.

Friends I know we all look for good low priced bargains and that ebay, and a host of music stores online have this same unit for the same price.
Now my Kala is no different then a new one out of a store except that I bought it. This is a wonderful quality instrument and definitely not a toy.
In addition I will include things you don't get from a store with this Kala.
I know everything works as it should plus I am including a nice small instrument strap I paid $16 for, plus some new bass books.
Shipping shouldn't be too bad either.
so if you have an interest or are looking, talk to me [lease before I change my mind again. Whoa! Whoa! Mind? Phew that is if I can find it to chage. Hahaha

If you have read this far I will offer my Kala for $300 + shipping and paypal fee if you pay Bob his small fee

Or talk to me about a package deal for the Kala and one of my bass amps both of which are just like new and are light.

Dick I just took a listen to one of those... they are AWESOME! If I had the funds, I'd buy it. It would be perfect for my arthritic fingers.

Hey good morning Scott.
Yes they are and indeed you are correct about easy on arthritis fingers. Very little pressure is needed to play the notes. And that 5th low string, wow. I have RA also.

Thanks for chiming in.

I have an acoustic Kala U bass. I can tell with no uncertainty that these instruments are not toys. They are quality instruments and sound amazing. They’re so easy to pack along, too. This is a very very good price, as well.

Thanks Rick. I believe the Kala is a much higher quality instrument when compared to the other Ubass brands.

I have just dropped the price of both bass amps I bought to use with this Kala.

So you could have a modern combo bass and amp for either $540 or $630 plus shipping. Easy to transport, lightweight, ultra modern, just like new.

I had a steel guitar playing friend and bass player come by for a visit. They were very impressed with the Kala, the 5 string neck is wider of course than the usual 4 string neck. This was her concern otherwise this one would have had a new home.

Still available as well as the two bass amps I have listed, the Fender rumble 100 and the G-K 200 watt bass amp. Both very light.

Or $300 for the Ubass and $295 for the G-K + shipping.
