Decided to hold off on selling. Please close.

Doing a little thinning of the herd and can't really justify keeping two Sho-Bud D10s, so one of them has to go. Picked up this steel maybe 5 or so years ago. The story I was told was that someone bought it new in the 70s and never learned to play so it sat in the case for years and years. Not sure if that is true or not, but the condition is really amazing for it's age.

You can see in the pictures there is some crazing beneath the finish. Par for the course for an instrument that is around 43 years old. Top finish is in good condition, not cracking or flaking. Doesn't appear to have had modifications. Setup is standard Emmons.

Note: I will not ship, local sale, can meet within a reasonable distance of Grass Valley, CA. My last few experiences with UPS and FedEx have made me decide it's not worth the hassle or the risk.

As far as trades:

Comparably priced US made arch-top jazz guitar
Really nice upright bass, nothing Chinese or Korean
Recording gear, nice studio monitors
Guitar pedals, amps, steel amps, etc.

Very Happy This is what I been talking about, the Birds eye maple apron and all the wood is just beautiful. The fact that this guitar was built by Duane Marrs make it an amazing buy IMHO. It looks like a time capsule from an era long gone. Best luck selling.

Just strung her up with new NYXL strings and replaced all of the nylon tuning nuts with new ones from psgparts. She sounds so good I'm going to keep her for while longer.

Close her up please.
