I had this steel built for my Dad for Christmas. When the steel arrived he took it out and set it up that night

and was tuning it up and had several strokes and he is not able to play it now. I sent it back to Mullen Co

and they put it on there web page to see if they could help me sell it but the holidays money is short and in
a few weeks they told me they had to make room for some more used guitars. They still have it and I am

getting ready to ship it back home.

This steel is loaded: It is a SD-10 G2, 1 piece tuning head, 705 pickup, completely polished out every

piece of metal. It is an Emmons set up with 3 pedals and 6 knees : The 6th knee is on the LKL and along

with the RKR gives you the Dbl lower on the 2nd string + is raises 7 also. The E's are on the left knee

along with the LVK lowering the B's and the RKL lowers 6 a whole tone and raises 1&2 in unison with

3&4. It also comes with a volume pedal bracket. It comes with a tooled case and leg & rod pouch.

Other than when Dad tuned it up no one has played it.

Please PM only with your phone number and I will call you

and talk money. PLEASE only serious buyers. I need to

sale this steel to help pay for the trip to Scans

Hospital in Gainesville, FL

Thanks in advance.

That is indeed a beautiful guitar, and the story breaks my heart. I have a new Mullen coming or I'd definitely be calling. Best of luck on your sale, and prayers for your Dad and family.

So sorry to hear about your pop's stroke. In some small way I know how it feels because my dad asked to get him a "G" Harmonica about 6 months before he passed. He was 88 when he passed and since I was a kid the only song I can remember him being able to play was "his" rendition of "You Are My Sunshine". I kept the harmonica but don't play it. Still to this very day every time I hear "You Are My Sunshine" I'm takin back to my youth when I thought of my dad as a kind of Mozart. Goes to show ya though, good music is subject to the listener's interpretation. My prayers are with you and your family. Never let go of idea he may make enough of a recovery to get some use out of that thing. Best wishes for you and your family!!

Sorry to hear what happened to your Dad.
I had a Mullen G2 custom made last year and it is a very well made instrument.
Very easy pedal and knee action. Holds it's tuning very well and I've not had a string break since it arrived and it still has the strings it came with.
Best wishes for your Dad's recovery.
