| I love the Peavey LTD. My amp of the month is a Fender Mustang 111 v2 on the 57 twin setting. Also happy with a Peavey special 130 with the TC Furlong 12 inch Eminence speaker. |

| Peavey Nashville 112 for sure. Plenty of power for big shows and a good all around tone for it's weight. I owned a Peavey DPC 750 and a Peavey Profex II with the Newman settings with the Peavey Classic 115 E Speaker enclosures. Was a great stereo system. Killer tone. Used that system all thru the 90's. The Steel Guitar Black Box is a good companion with the NV 112. |

I have two NV 400s, a Session 500, a Deuce II and a NV 112. The NV 112 is my favorite by far.. does everything I want it to. Great for small venues and large venues with it miked. I do like a finder twin though.

I have two that I love - I've have an old, used Stereo Steel that I have used for about 4 years - all the various non-steel amps I'd purchased got put aside when I got it, and eventually got sold. Before moving back to the Philippines I acquired a Milkman "The Amp," as I needed something small enough to fit in my backpack so I could fly with it. And I love it as well. My Stereo Steel is getting closer to arriving here with the shipment co. I sent it with - hoping to have it (and my two home-made speaker cabs) within a week.
Initial impressions from comparisons - Stereo Steel is a very bright amp - a good choice if you like classic and Bakersfield sound, or just want something to cut through the mix. The Milkman is a shade darker in tone, with a more complex tonality - maybe that pre-amp tube? I love the onboard reverb on the Milkman (I use a Zoom MS-50 with the Stereo Steel).
I am now playing with a country band - still in "practice" mode, but in the resto-bar we will be playing in eventually, with whatever customers wander in for an audience. Once the Stereo Steel arrives, I will set both up one night and do some comparison, and give more of my impressions. But, my hunch is, if I were playing in a small venue and with a small band, where there is less background sound when I play, I think I would prefer the Milkman (and maybe also if mic'ed in a larger place). With the bigger band I am playing with, I think I will like the power and the clear, crisp tone of the Stereo Steel to cut through the clutter.
There are many amps I'd love to try compared to my current 2 - mostly those made with steel in mind - but in the end, I like what I have, can get a tone I am happy with from either, and need to focus more on my skills, not my gear, to "improve" the tone!

I love the Peavey LTD 400. Have had several thru the years. I think they are the BEST all around amp you can have. 50 lbs with the BW speaker. Small and compact. Filled every venue I ever played. I have two of them now. J.R.

| My Fender amps are still my favorites, duel channels when you swap to guitar is the only way to go. The old Session 400 Limited fills the bill when more power is needed, but carrying an extra amp for guitar is a hassle. |

I gotta have glowing bottles. Solid state just doesn't do it for me,especially when I switch to Tele onstage. My go-to amp is a Peavey Classic 30, run in stereo delay with a Fender Sidekick switcher. I also have an Ultralinear Twin with JBLs, but can't use it till gas prices come down. On a gig where I need more volume & play more steel, I got a Peavey Renown 1-15". For gigs where guitar predominates, I have a '64 Ampeg Gemini II. best reverb & tremolo on the planet.

I have a NV400 and a NV112. Both are very good steel amps, but IMHO the NV400 has a slightly more pleasing sound, but it's way too heavy for me to take it anywhere.

My favorite amp is my Ken Fox Vintage high powered twin (5F8B) with a single 15 (Telonics)
For smaller gigs, it’s a ‘64 Fender non-reverb Deluxe amp. (w/12†Telonics)

I don't gig anywhere on steel, so my old Vibrolux Reverb is my favorite. My V8 going into a Quilter Toneblock through a JBL D-140 (I've always preferred the 140 over the 130 for some reason) is right in there though.

Webb 6-14-E, Fender Steel King, Telonics TCA 500, and Peavey Nashville 400 have been the best for me.
