| Welcome everyone to the start of the San Antonio Steel Guitar Association jam for 2019. Held at the American Legion Post 593, 326 Legion Drive West, in Converse Texas, 78109, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. All players should be there and tuned up at 2:00 pm. Dale Thomas is going to be our featured guest from Iowa. Looking forward to hearing and playing along side of Dale. The Legion will have the Cantina open and will serve delicious burgers. |

| Well folks, tomorrow February 10, 2019, we are starting up the San Antonio Steel Guitar Association jam again at the American Legion Post 593 in Converse, TX, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. We ask that all steel guitar players be tuned up and ready to play at 2:00 pm. Even if you are just starting out, please come and be with us, and talk to these great gentlemen. They are always willing to help. |

Wow! This is all I can say - what a stellar show by everyone. The hall was smokin. Special thanks to Dale Thomas, who did an outstanding job as our featured guest. Now to mention the other stellar players - Roger Edgington from San Antonio, Bill McCumber from Alice, Jimmy Allen from Carrizo Springs, and Don Miller from Victoria, Tx. It could not have all been done without a great band - Lonnie Castlemen on drums, Jim Baledo on bass, Don Bierstead also on bass, David Waters on lead guitar from
Victoria, Ken Metcalf on guitar, and myself on guitar and fiddle. This was an event that you could say, was a packed house.
