I've had mine since brand new, never blown the speaker, never had any issue with it. Period.

It sounds amazing, has stood up to hundreds of gigs...some VERY LOUD ones at that.

Personally, it sounds better to me than any Peavey amp ever made for steel, including my beloved Session 400. The reverb has that great Fender spring sound.

I have the Fender Jazz King amp I purchased from a forum member some years ago. It’s the same format as the Steel King only 40 watts less. Nice amp.

I recently put a Eminence Travis Toy 15" in my Steelking because I liked the way the TT-12" sounded in my Fender Twin. Really woke it up!Smile I liked the way it sounded before but now, even much more!
Twang to the bone!

Okay. They are 10s. But 35 watts of tube is not loud enough? Yowza that band is loud!

If u played guitar before and liked tubes not sure u will like ss not. But maybe.
