Are Thurs and Fri just seminars? I just want shows, but the flyer is fairly i
Uninformative. I'm not interested in seminars. Trying to figure how many nights I need to find a room for.

I just booked a round-trip flight for this show, Portland-to-DFW Smile
First-Class this time!
[Last time I was seated next to Andre' The Giant's big brother for 4 hours, each way! Uugh!]

I am hoping to get my room booked.
They said I have to call back after 9am Monday.
FYI:
The TSGA link that says "Use this link to make online reservations for the Doubletree" does not work (on my computer).

Richard Thurs night is the Showcase for players that are not in the big show but I think have been selected in some way to play. Friday things start rolling with players on the main stage in the big ballroom for about 30 minutes each from morning til late evening. The intensity keeps picking up with Saturday usually the biggest and best day. And all this time there are sideshows or jams going on on the venders rooms plus the non pedal sessions. We usually go Thursday so we can get settled in and rested up for Friday.

So far, it appears that I'm coming from the farthest away! I suspect that this will change pretty soon. Looking forward to seeing everyone again - watch out for my camera!!

Bill, you are quite right about Sarah coming from farther than me. However, I was referring to those who had already responded to Albert's question in this post. See you next month!

Larry Robbins and myself will be on the road (well, so to speak) for over 48 hours to get there from NY. We don't fly, so we'll be taking the train, an experience which we enjoy anyway. (Haha, Sarah will probably even beat our travel time!) Definitely looking forward to this year's' show!

Jerry I can’t speak specifically for this year but there are normally at least 2 booths that have picks. The ones I am thinking of are usually at the back of the main ballroom.
