Hey all! Just a reminder that the Dallas show is coming up and Albert & Debbie have been kind enough to invite me again this year.

I will also be giving a seminar this year and there are seats still available.

Here's the link: http://www.texassteelguitar.org/jam.html

Hope to see you there!

Buck

Buck: What do you plan on covering in the seminar?
How long is it?
Do we need to bring a guitar, or only tab paper/pencils/etc?
What day/time/location/etc?

There are a couple of topic posts in the Events section.
But unless I missed it somewhere, there is no detailed information on your seminar.

I attended Buck's seminar last year, great insights into both necks, and lots of technique pointers. Here's a shot from that seminar, the Master sharing his knowledge:

Sorry folks... here's the rundown for the seminar.

Date: Thursday March 7th

Time: 9am - 4pm with an hour break for lunch.

Content: We will talk about primary pockets/positions for both the E9 and C6 tunings, available voicings in each and examples of how to tie them together using both chordal and single note line forms. Of course there will be fundamental tips for right and left hand technique, ie... the "crossover" method for single note phrasing as well as different vibrato techniques with the left hand. There will also be a question and answer segment in which folks can address issues they are having.

This is a lecture format since we don't have the space or proper headphone system for everyone to bring their own instruments. Please bring an audio recorder of some type or maybe a notepad to refer back to... NO VIDEOS PLEASE!

There are seats available and the link above gives pricing and contact info if you plan to attend. Join us if you can and we look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks... Buck
