In the 1990's I became a certified JBL factory warranty specialist.

The coil over exertion is very likely to be what made the weird looking marks as Paul is saying.

The 130 cone paper is one of their more light weight items.

During the Training session up in Northridge Ca. we looked at dozens of examples of damaged cones and this syndrome was one of them.

Amazingly the coil did not burn open with whatever peak hit it for likely a long duration.

It is possible the cone has some life in it , but to be certain it would be a good candidate for recone to get the best sound for years to come.
