has a recone kit that comes as close to the original as you can get, it comes partly assembled when you get it.
I've done recones on quite a few JBL D-130 speakers and it really isn't a big deal, they've all turned out great.
In fact, I have a JBL D-130 speaker now that I plan on reconing.

If they have cones for your model ask Tone Tubby out in California. They recone many speakers for the stars.
This speaker is on eBay, a reconed with hemp D130 done by Tone Tubby aka A Brown Soun in San Rafael Calif.
The seller used this for a psg and is selling it because he doesn't play steel anymore.
Hemp cone. Trump has signed legislation for the growing of hemp in Conus. Lots of uses for the plant material.
I had an E130 reconed by them and use it in a Leslie rewound to 16 ohms. Sure handles the power of a Hammond. The hemp cone handles the torture of certain frequencies.
Reason bands like Metallica, Santana had Tone Tubby redo all their speakers.
It might sound good to you.
Tell them what you plan to play through the speaker. You send them your frame, they send it back.
