My latest Old Standard is "Magic Is The Moonlight".
However, this song started out in 1929 as a Spanish song called: "Te Quiero Dijiste".
It was written by Maria Grever . It was recorded by several different artist under that title but in 1959 Charles Pasquale wrote English lyrics to the song and the title changed to "Magic Is The Moonlight".
Since then it has been recorded by several different artists including Santo & Johnny in 1965. Very Happy

Hi Erv,

Would you be able to send me some Hawaiian backing tracks for some songs? how much do they cost? I think this is a wonderful thing you are doing to preserve such beautiful music for a beautiful instrument.

There is a beautiful song by Charly McClain called DANCING YOUR MEMORY AWAY. Would you be able to make a tab for that song. I think it would be an awesome steel tune.

What is your PayPal address and what is this the ordering procedure?

Thank you,
Gloria

My latest Old Standard is "Wish You Were Here".
This song is a Pink Floyd number and was written by Roger Waters and David Gilmour in approx. 1975.
It dealt with the mental breakdown of former bandmate, Syd Barrett.
The master tape of the original recording included an entire performance of pedal steel guitar and electric guitar solos, however they were eliminated in the final mix. Very Happy

There was some interest in this song by fellow steelers so I got busy and tabbed out "God Only Knows".
This song was written by Brian Wilson of Beach Boys fame in 1966 and I think I came pretty close to its sounding right. Very Happy
