Hey peeps
Might be a shot in the dark but I’m looking for the decal (black and silver fender logo) that goes on the front of a fender 800
Plus a bridge for one
Any ideas where I would look ? |

Spencer.. I bought one on ebay that was pretty close for my 800 several years ago.. Not 100% identical, but looked quite good.I looked and they are still there on ebay ... Just make sure the dimensions are close to what was on there originally..
if you are looking for an original NOS logo decal, well, all i can say is good luck..
As far as a "bridge" I don't know what you mean.. They have a unique changer finger design, but not a "bridge" per se.
are all the fingers missing? Could you be meaning the ashtray that covers up the fingers and mute set up?... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
no gear list for me.. you don't have the time...... |

Thanks bob, what do you type in on eBay to search for it?
Yes, I guess the ashtray is what I’m looking from |

Are you looking for an 800 changer Spencer, or just the ashtray? I have a spare changer, but no ashtray.
Etsy.com is a good place to look for decals and badges, etc., but it's unlikely anybody will have the correct one for an 800. I have the correct hi-res artwork for the 800 badge if you wanted to take it to a print shop. It's an .eps file so I can't post it here, but happy to email if you want it.
The originals were silk screened on adhesive foil, a good print shop can replicate it pretty close. Marty Broussard was looking to get some made up at one point a few years back too. I don't know if he ever did, but it couldn't hurt to check with him. I made the artwork for him originally. |

For the old Fender steels, I recommend using a tweed amp nameplate, since the decals have been unavailable for almost 50 years. While not really "correct", it certainly looks presentable. (Use double-sided tape to mount it.)
