SOLD
I bought this Strat copy from Loren Bayles before he passed away. He thought he paid just over $400 for this guitar. I cannot prove it's worth, just looks like another of millions of these floating around. It shows use but Loren had had this setup and it plays so very smoothly. I bought a nice strong light case for it. electronics are clean.
This is a perfect candidate to put a Redneck(forgot the name again already) square neck on it just like Erv Neihaus and many others have done. Erv had his listed on here a while ago.

So...buy this from me for cheap and play as is or work it over into a strat-steel. It is gig worthy for a job site.
Save on shipping and come pick it up if you're close by, or buy my gas, I will deliver if you aren't far far away.

I wish that you'd had this for sale when I was out in Billings in October.

Hi John:
well darn anyway.
Hey we really aren't that far apart.
Do you plan on coming over any time soon again.
I could get an estimate to ship it.
Or if we have friends we could send it with?

Hi Orlando:
Only asking $125 plus ship and paypal fee if needed.

I will check shipping cost right away and get back to you.

I've collected vinyl for tons of years, still do.
I have several thousand albums. Rather than count them anymore, I just measure them by shelf space..hahaha, so approximately 85 feet of shelves are full of vinyl. I must have got that from my grandad and good old Uncle Scrooge McDuck who was always measureing the depth of his money and leveling it with a bulldozer. I need a micrometer to measure the depth of my bucks.hahahaha.

Be back in a flash.....or two.

Orlando, cost to ship via Post Office is $65 priority and $60 retail ground, so priority would make the best decision.Based on 20 pounds and 41 x 6 x 16 dimensions.
Lot less handling, just a safer bet. I did not mention in the ad but I have a new set of plastic to go with it, what's on is fine, I bought the spare package to get the back cover to put on and never did. so you would get that package too.

Oh forgot a row of vinyl, I am closer to 100 feet of vinyl.

Forgot to ask. Is the neck chunk, as small necks do t work for me.
Wow that’s a lot of vinyl. Is it all country , or it’s a little of everything.

Orlando, I'm not sure what the answer is on the necl.
do you want me to measure some parts of the neck?

Vinyl..in my teens and early 20's and 30's I didn't make much money especially to buy new rocords, so I'd wait and find them at garage sales and record stores etc. My first main interst was instrumental records, guitar, horns, piano, you name it. Always hunted for steel and dobro records. Once my collection started getting away from me, I'd buy whole lots from people, then lots of records were just donated to me. I favor country, early country, cowboy, pop, rock, jazz, but actually I developed a very wide taste in music so yes I have a wide variety. There is so much good music to listen to.

Please check the nut width if you have calipers. Most fenders are 1 5/8. I love my vinyl too, but have nothing close to that collection. You sir are my hero!. I love all styles too.
Thanks

Good morning Orlando. The calipers read 1.64 to 1.65 at the nut.

I measured again and I get just under 1,7.
so a tad over 1 5/8 but a tad narrower than 1 3/4s.

No problem Orlando. What would be your guess as to who might have made this guitar? I don't think it is a Fender neck at least, I just don't know, it sure does play real smooth and nice though.

The vinyl collectiona friend of mine thinks it's worth around 20 thousand. Of course it is only worht what someone is willing to pay but I must admit it is pretty darn nice. Like a lot of us, I have lots of cassettes, several 78's. Gave away a huge collection of 45's when I sold my jukebox a few years ago.

Now to downsize my huge G scale train collection, anybody??
thanks again Orlando and Happy New Year.
