There hasn't been any problems that I know of with the reverb connection to the amp. But wiggle that connector or even unplug then plug back in and see if the reverb works.
Follow the wires from the reverb pan and you will find the connector.
I bought a used NV112 a couple of months ago and the reverb pan was "dead" in it. Everything else worked perfectly. Something to consider. _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat, SIT Strings

If its not the connector or connections on the reverb pan, maybe a bad reverb pot??
Internal electronics can't be ruled out but there hasn't been many internal problems that I remember seeing on here. _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat, SIT Strings

If it turns out you need a new reverb, you should do a search on the reverbs that a lot of people were substituting for the factory reverb. Every body thought theh sounded better, inc!uding myself. The brand and model number was posted on the forum, possibly by Tommy White. I got mine from Antique Ectronic Supply for 19.95, if my memory serves me correctly. I think it would be a good move even if you get your old tank to working. I had to buy a new reverb wiring harness for one of the 112's I had, so that may be your problem. Pricy at about $30.00 from Peavy. In the meantime, clean the RCA connectors real good with some OOOO steel wool. |
