I worked up this arrangement of Beautiful Kahana in C13...my teacher taught it to me in D9, but I just never seem to retune to that tuning often (I know it's an easy retune!) so I worked it out in C13 and recorded it today.

I was introduced to it by that Jerry Byrd video on youtube with Gary Aiko, and then found the Alfred Apaka and Hawaii Calls / Hawaiian Shores versions...

Waikīkī, at night when the shadows are falling
I hear the rolling surf calling
Calling and calling to me
