I'm calling my doctor on Wednesday to see if he can see me before my appointment on 1/9. I was playing Saturday night, and twice my middle finger locked up while playing. The pain in my arm and hand is getting to be too much.

And there's a hell of a lot of difference between an ulnar nerve transposition and a cubital tunnel release. What's your point?

First off the procedures involve 2 totally different nerves. Secondly carpal tunnel releases are, as a rule, much easier and generally more successful than Ulnar nerve transpositions

Of course I realize they are 2 different nerves (median vs ulnar). My point is surgery is never a 100% certain fix (my cubital tunnel release - not transposition - certainly was not) and should not be a choice made lightly.
