I don't think Sho~Bud had nut rollers on their 1st pedal steels but then Shot started using string ends for the rollers on subsequent models. Very Happy

Thanks Erv - I had assumed it was Sho-Bud around 1957 because theie early guitars were just slots before they used string ends. Would be accurate to say Sho-Bud was the first and were David and Harry involved with the company at this time? Erv, thanks for the reply and info.

The Harlin Multi-Kords used roller nuts even before WWII, long before any Sho~Buds were built.
