You can use the two bass strings on this 14 strings or work your way up to the challenge by removing them an play as a 12 string then add them back later.
We can doll this black BMI up Like this blue one if yo want!! What ever color you can come up with.
If your looking for a little challenge Let the games begin!!!!
I’m ready if you are I have 14 strings, 10 pedals, 5 knee leavers, a supper pickup Has Julian Tharps tuning that the first 7 strings are standard Emmons set up.
I’m pretty much in like new condition, An come with a nice case with wheels in close too new condition. Any part on this BMI steel is available from BMI.

Knee leavers on a BMI are as easy as putting LEGO blocks together. That’s the way a BMI is Built like one big LEGO Set. Ever part fits together from the pedal board an pedals to the changer like a child’s puzzle ages 5 too 7 recommended age. There’s not steel as tough An long lasting as a BMI being made today or yesterday. There design has been copied but never equaled. I my have to eat crow here the Sierra session Steel is another tough steel an bullet proof . Can anyone name more steels that are built with a aluminum frame. I know of one that has a aluminum frame other than BMI being built.

This is a great steel that was owned by Jack and played by Julian Tharpe himself. It does have 5 knees but has all the pulls on it that Julian’s did. All the pulls for the push ups were put on one knee. Jack and Jimmy Miller can validate Julian played this guitar on several occasions.

Let me know if you would like to change the black14 string to something more too your liking on a BMI the front panel slides in a grove in the aluminum frame. This steel pictured here use to be black Formica. Of corse it would add too the price.

I can’t promise you will learn to play like Mr. Tharp but think of all the fun you will have trying. Julian’s playing was second to none to me he was the greatest pedal steel guitar player too ever draw a breath he could hold his own with the best Tele players make them sweat bullets. Who would want too trade fours with him.
