Since I play mostly at home, [and occasionally at Church,] I use backing tracks. For years I have used CDs played through a small CD player into the aux. input in an amp or through a small mixer and into the amp.
I'm considering going to a digital player. Just wondering what type would work well? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. George |

George, do you have a smartphone or tablet. I use both to play tracks I have on my computer from downloads or from cd's I have loaded in there. I transfer what I want and put them on my phone or tablet. Prior to that I used a SanDisk mp4 player loading tracks the same way. |

The easiest way since your only playing at home is to use youtube and create a folder for the songs you want. { Karaoke tracks } Quick easy and you already have a computer and internet.
I also use Tascam DR-05 Stereo Portable Digital Recorder for tracks. At $79 you cant beat it.

Hey Greg, I have the same Tascam. I really seldom use it now. Right on the youtube and karaoke tracks. I use those as well. |
