I used my EHX volume pedal with No pot, no moving parts. at my gig and it worked perfectly. It does however take some getting used to.

The only problem I had was the pedal would slide a bit on the carpet of the stage if I wasnt careful.

If I could incorporate this technology in my Ernie Ball pedal that would be great indeed.

Chris, I didnt even know that existed. I wonder if that would hold in place when on a carpet. The rubber on the VP is holds great on a anything other than carpet.

Thanks for the info..

Try using velcro. Any pedal I use that had velcro on it hangs like glue.

What I like about it is Zero maintenance and no moving parts or pots to replace.

What I dont like is when you foot goes off the pedal it returns to the wide open position.

Really? Doesn't that make it an absolute deal-killer, then?

Not at all. If you rock the pedal forward as far as it will go , the pedal will shut off. To start it again rotate all the way forward again. { Till front of pedal touches floor }

This sounds like it would be a problem but it really isnt and you will not accidentally shut the pedal off unless rotate so far that your toe touches the floor

Doesn't seem ideal for pedal steel, but I can certainly see it for elec guitar, possibly lap steel depending on playing style.

I've been curious about this pedal, but I'd really like to try out the wah version of this pedal design.

I primarily use it for a backup pedal.

What about the cables? Is it going to affect them? If the entire pedal moves, that means the jacks move, which means the cables move...and...well, you get the picture. Confused

Yeah , the cables will move with the pedal. Didnt seem to be a problem. Keep in mind that its similar to other pedals in that this is not the perfect pedal , its just a good backup pedal that requires no maintenance.
