I have just acquired a Clarke Metalworker that is a small lathe with a mill attachment and thought I would try to teach myself some engineering, so far I have managed to destroy a large quantity of Aluminium. The mission I set myself was to produce some knee levers the same as are on my 71 push pull, my scrap bin is full to overflowing but the last batch look like they could be usable. This is not a "for profit" venture but I would at least like to try and recoup some of what I have so far spent the output is very limited so if they interest you, floor mounted or bar mounted GB£ 30 plus whatever it cost to post to you.... if you find the engineering too crude (it is getting better) send the part back and I will refund your GB£30
In the picture with two floor mounted levers, the one with the flag on is a Genuine Emmons lever from my 71 D10 and is not for sale, just using it to work to, |

Thank you Jack, I am sure they will get better as I progress I have already found homes for 6 of them and may have a go at making a couple of teardrops next. |
