would like to know what are some you that use a older
evans fet 500 amp settings. just pick one up this past weekend..

I have a 1985 FET-500LV. Here is where I usually start.
Depth - Down (off)
Expand - Up (on)
Bass - 7
Body - 8
Treble - 1

| Got a Black Box with the variable Z tone control for my Evans rack mount. Difference between night and day in controlling the highs, plus the advantage of a tube buffer. Best move I have ever made concerning an Evans. I played an FET 500 LV for about 20 years, so I am pretty familar with Evans amps. I also had a Webb. I prefer the Evans. Hard to beat an Evans when you learn the EQ. To each his own. |
