HEY GUYS
I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL LAST NIGHT 11-27 -18 ABOUT 9;00 PM FROM ALICE WESTMORELAND THAT HER HUSBAND DON HAS JUST PASSED .HE WAS BATTLING LEUKEMIA FOR A TIME .
DON WAS 83 YEARS OLD ,HE LIVED IN DICKINSON TX. AND WAS THE OWNER OF LIMELIGHT RECORDING STUDIO ,MANY
PLAYERS SUCH AS HERB REMINGTON ,STEVE PALOUSEK ,ETC .
RECORDED THERE .
IN HIS YOUNGER YEARS HE WAS A TALENTED MUSICIAN AND SINGER WITH A VOICE SIMILAR TO HANK WILLIAMS .
I MEET DON AT A HIGH SCHOOL TALENT SHOW , PLAYING STEEL .
WE FORMED A BAND AND PLAYED TOGETHER FOR 46 YEARS .BUT
HIS LOVE FOR RECORDING , WAS FORCED TO QUIT PLAYING SO HE COULD DEVOTE HIS FULL TIME IN THE RECORDING BUSINESS.
HE WAS LIKE A BROTHER TO ME AND HE WILL BE MISSED BY
ALL.

This is sad news. Don was a great guy, fine musician and had a great studio which he recorded many great artist. He's not suffering any more, he is now with Our Precious Lord. Our prayers will go out to Don's family.
Rest in peace dear friend,
