Hi all: I decided to keep the red one. this listing can close up Bob. Thanks
Both black cubes are gone.
I have 3 extremely nice Roland Cube 80 XL.s. All with low mileage and excellent care and look great. rarely moved around, used at church and home practice.

I want $300 each plus shipping. That is a firm price. Sure would be nice to have a local sale, or nearby. I can possibly deliver just for gas if not too far away.

I'd consider a trade just for the sake of trying something different. anybody???

I am using two Evans SE200's right now.
Two are Black. One was redone in Red. It looks great. I don't have a red guitar anymore. The red one has a cover that was painted red to match, but that did not work well, so now it looks like a black and red Holstein ...hahaha

I have a Roland Cube 80 XL as well, I like this amp a lot.
Personally, I like the sound WAY better than a Nashville 112.
Every now and then I think "I should sell that and try something else", then I trial it against my Fender Steel King, and then a friend stops over and plays through it and says "Geez, that thing sounds great", and then I come to my senses and realize "this is a great amp, I'm keeping it".
Been in that cycle for 6 years! Great amp, good luck with the sale Dick.
John

Thanks John.
I decided on these when there was a lot of discussion on here comparing the 112's to the 80's, and the 80's were favored better. So eventually I ended up with three, one for each guitar. Personally I think they are great. Plenty of power, sounds good, ability to add an extension speaker, and a host of other good goodies.

I am raising enough $$ to pay for a Mullens D-10, so figure if I list enough stuff, a couple itemw would sell. I need to trim down anyway....AGAIN...LOL

I have been using my 80XLs (I have three, too) for five or six years now. I traded 'down' from my pair of NV 112s to save weight and found I infinitely preferred the Rolands!

Recently I acquired another 112 but, although it's in great condition, I have to say that I can't get close to the tone I get from the 80XLs. (I'm not sure what moved me to get another 112 but I did.)

If you'd have told me six years ago that I'd favour such a tiny amp - with such a little speaker - for steel I'd have laughed at you. I remain a fan of these excellent amplifiers.

Hey thanks Roger.
Yes I think the Peavey 112 gets the automatic cat's meow because it is a Peavey and maybe we're just not "pro" if it isn't a Peavey. And I love all the Peavey's I've had over the years, no complaints. However, Roland hit a home run with the 80XL. I had the same thought as you, wondering about squeezing out any good sounding tone from that little outfit. Well it can really meow too!!! hahaha.
It is compact and not so darn heavy.
I was convinced by all the discussion on this forum comparing the 112 to the 80 and the 80 won out, so I went with the 80's.
I don't really want to sell these, but I need to raise a little more moola to pay for a Mullens D-10.

I bought a Roland 80GX and sold it as I liked the features of the XL much better.

Congrats on selling the first two Cube 80 XL's.
The good news, as you sell the last one, is that everyone knows red amps sound best...
