Anybody ever send their Peavey Session 500 back to Peavey factory for a rebuild/refurbishment/repair? What kind of money would i be looking to spend; ballpark? I have 2 working 500s and want to get them back up to like new working order. One has a hum within the phaser circuit and the fuzz circuit sounds nasty. I want to park one in church as a head and sell the other.

Thanks

Dwight

I had one repaired a long time ago by Peavey. Cost obviously will vary depending on what is wrong. But, I find Peavey prices are reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to send it to them for repair (and I'm a former amp tech).

I was figuring it would cost in the range of 150-250 or so.... but it would work correctly and have some kind of peavey backing. I love here in Miami Florida and have many friends that have these amps but can't find a technician that can work on these and they stay running for more than a week.
