Jim: Lucky you. You get to be the sound man too!! Nice gear, but that's a lot to deal with. _________________ It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. |

Yes Paul- it is a handful. Getting used to a digital mixer was a curve but really happy now- the QSC stuff is great but the added responsibility is a bit of a burden- like getting to a gig an hour earlier than the rest to set it up but being able to wander around and do the mixing then saving it for playing the same venue at a later date eases the pain (somewhat). |

Nothing. No pack a seat. No rack. Just vol pedal, delay and overdrive on the floor. |

The tablet controls my monitor signal to either a floor wedge or in-ears. At the gig last night I used in-ears, hence the small Behringer in-ear amp attached to the left rear leg. I don't have to try to get the sound man's attention to adjust what I'm hearing in my monitor. It only affects Bus 5, which is me.
I can also use the tablet to control a Midas MR18 digital stage box mixer that I recently acquired. That will be for running the whole PA with a small acoustic combo I'm also working with. I've never actually tried doing all this, but that's the plan. _________________ It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing.

Zoom MS70-CDR and Bad Horse OD on one leg, Black Box on the pack seat. If I was going for a win I'd show the music stand on one front leg and a mic boom on the other front leg. But this shot shows the good stuff.

Bill,
I notice that you have a Korg tuner in line.
I am not familiar with a Korg tuner but when I had a Boss tuner in line it affected my tone, whether on or off.

Erv, this Korg Tuner doesn’t seem to make any difference in tone to me at all. I like that it also has a back lit screen. And Paul, as far as the old Sho-Bud pac a seat, I’ve had it since ‘99. I had a few Hardrock Cafe stick pins, courtesy of my Bro. in-law, so I put them on the front around the Sho-Bud logo. I also added a back to the seat 9yrs. ago. |

After days of deliberation, the judges have finally selected a winner. It's a tie, ladies and gentlemen! Although many outstanding setups were under consideration until the bitter end, our judges selected both Bill L. Wilson and Slim Heilpern as winners of the Dunlop tone bar.
Bill and Slim: Please send me a private message with the address to which you would prefer your half of the bar shipped. Will make every attempt to have the bar chopped into two equal halves and get each in the mail as soon as possible.
Thanks everyone for submitting your photos. Lots of interesting entries were received. |

As I was getting ready to pack up last night I remembered this thread and thought I'd take a picture of my Gibson Console Grande with a harmonica tray attached to the leg. Too late for the contest but not something you see every day!
