Pad shelf is detachable very easy just slips into slots.

Fred this is a heavy duty set up one can actually put your body weight on shelf it’s not going any where.
Yes Fred the male part part B is 3/16’s inch angle aluminum 2.5 by 2 inches by one inch wide. The part I use too accept the male part is 3/8 thick by two inches wide an 2.75 inches tall.
I’m sure a good hardware store has a commercial fixture for mounting shelves that would simplify the installation.
I miill a 3/16 deep by 1 inch wide slot in this this part to make a slot for part A. Then I attach two part A,s to steel with screws. Screw parts B two shelf An I’m done.
I have a idea for a much easier way to attach shelf stay tuned.

Okay, thanks. That is the best idea for accessory storage and arm rest I have seen yet, and the brackets look like they make it bomb proof. But I don’t have a mill, so if you have something else up your sleeve that might work just as well, I am definitely staying tuned Cool

PS: by the way, it’s a beautiful guitar too. Very Happy
