This is one of my favorite tunes by Justin Tubb from way back in 1961. It features some simple-but-novel pedal steel work using open-string moving harmonies, and hammer-ons. It's useful stuff that I still use today. Hope you enjoy!

My mom had a copy of the album that song was on, I remember finding it in the closet when I was a teenager. If memory serves correct the album listed Jimmy Day on steel in the credits. Pretty amazing for the time because it seems like the rest of the musicians on records rarely were noted. Then again maybe Justin got that from his dad. Seems like ET was pretty free with giving his musicians their due props. That was a cool listen, thanks for posting it!

Back before knee levers. There is a video on YouTube of a live broadcast with Jimmy Day playing a Fender lap steel on legs modified with a single A & B pedal raise. They pulled the strings in the keyhead.
