He's high up on the list of my favourite players and I thoroughly enjoy his chord voicings.
Is anybody aware of any transcriptions of his work? There's so much I could learn from him!

Sez IS an amazing player, in the realm of Reece Anderson. As he lives in South Africa, it's rare when we can enjoy him live. Saw him at the Phoenix show 2 years ago, wonderful style, very mellow.

Sez also speaks to me on C-6th.
As far as transcribing his work - it's tough as he has some non-factory changes: Sez lowers 8 string C-B / raises the 5th string G-G# / raises the 6th string E-F and probably something non- factory on the 4th pedal. Even without these changes these's still much to learn from him. Without his changes it will take some workarounds but that's where the fun comes in. Sez is a real steel guitar thinker. |

Sez is one of the most imaginative players when it come to melody construction. Absolutely love his chord work. Massive talent and a really fine individual...
