Yes, I always thought the same thing about my Dads Sound .... When I listen to the big bands from the 30s, 40s, 50s .... My favorite is Benny Goodman, I noticed that my Dad really covered the sound of the big band instruments very well ....Thanks for noticing.
Bandcamp has its place , I suppose, and though I didn't make his recordings available strictly for profit ...for all my efforts and time, 4 songs so far, asking .99 cents , and over 100 plays, It generated .74 cents Total !!!!!! ..... Wow !! ....
I wonder if Dad would want to leave it out there or if he would rather not , because as he said, everything has a price ...And I still claim to be human ....
So Far .....
Tough Call ..... It can make you look like a bad person.
Everyone that knows me, knows that I do it for love and respect for my Father.
I ask for opinions and get alot of responses .
They all point to everything having a price for your efforts.
I'd feel bad if I couldn't keep his spirit and his music alive ...
I need to think ..... I think ....
