Some where back in time I remember reading where Lloyd had a early Bud D10 and he had the C6 guts removed from his D10 and put a pad in it's place. It was the birth of the LDG. I am thinking Lloyds current Bud is a 1973. Oh yeah, Lloyd had the first LDG and Ricky Davis has number 2 from that year. Their is no tone to match that of Lloyds and Ricky's Buds. My opinion only. I am a Bud man.

Lloyd’s guitar was made by no other then a Paul Franklin Sr. , Mr. Franklin was working for Sho Bud at that time, and he hand picked the wood for the guitar himself out of all the different planks that were in the attic of the Sho Bud store...

It is no wonder it has such a signature tone. Paul Franklin Sr. knew what he was doing.

Oh man Damir, that is the twin of the Sho~Bud I got from you a ways back. Those round front Pro IIs with barrels imho are the best sounding Buds!
